Peaceful breezes, inviting courses, and beautiful jumps greeted riders Tuesday, Nov. 3 for the kick-off of M & R Equestrian Services' 2020-2021 Training Days season at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in West Palm Beach, FL.
Training Days, the brainchild of Olympians Alberto Michan (ISR) and Juan Andres Rodriguez (GUA), welcomed riders of all ages and levels for a full day of top class show jumping in the most productive of atmospheres.
Two arenas hosted riders at the 1.30m, 1.20m, 1.10m, and 1.0m heights on opening day of the 24-week series, which expands to two days and three arenas later in the winter season.
The event offer riders of all levels an unprecedented opportunity to school over a full course of show quality jumps, set by FEI course designers. Each entry awards a horse and rider combination two minutes and 30 seconds in the arena, allowing them to jump as many fences or courses as they'd like in that time and providing the perfect horse show dress rehearsal.
"Training Days kicked off with great enthusiasm," Rodriguez said. "We were very encouraged by participation so early in the season, and the venue looked tremendous. We are very excited for the upcoming circuit."
