With more than a century of history, the Fairfield June Horse Show is set to return June 16-20, 2026 at the Fairfield County Hunt Club in Westport, CT.
The 102nd edition of the competition will return as a World Championship Hunter Rider event as well as continue its growth of its jumper program, with a $5,000 1.30m Welcome Stake and $15,000 1.40m Grand Prix.
Competitors can look forward to a revamped show schedule that also features a $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby, four other derby opportunities, and multiple junior and amateur jumper classics.
The Official Prize List is available now, and entries are open at HorseShowsOnline.com. Entries close May 26, 2026.
A fixture in the Fairfield County community, Fairfield County Hunter Club - Stables formed a strategic partnership with Bluman Equestrian in 2025, setting out to expand its offerings at all levels of the sport and encourage more family and grassroots participation in horsemanship.
The June Show is recognized as a US Equestrian Heritage Competition, reserved for prestigious equestrian competitions that have been established for a long period of time and have made substantial contributions to the development and promotion of equestrian sports.
Open to the public, this year's June Show will offer more opportunities for lower level riders to get experience competing on Fairfield's iconic grass field, particularly beneficial for riders aiming for the Connecticut Hunter Jumper Association (CHJA) Medal Finals, held at Fairfield, August 13-16. The Itty Bitty Jumper division remains on the schedule after its 2025 addition, while Short Stirrup and Opportunity Classes will be held outside in the Burr Ring and Annex. A fifth hunter derby has also been added to the schedule at the 2' height.
"We're excited about the continued expansion of the June Show program," said Bluman Equestrian's Daniel Bluman, a three-time Olympian. "We brought back Grand Prix show jumping to the schedule last year, and this year hunter riders will appreciate the return of World Championship Hunter Rider designation. With 102 years of history, it's important for us to honor the traditions of this historic venue while also creating more opportunities for riders of all levels. We hope the whole family will come to celebrate sport with us, June 16-20."
